Designed as a dedication to and in the spirit of the often overlooked women of the Bauhaus movement, our Gunta Quilt is an ode to Gunta Stölzl. Gunta Stölzl was the head of weaving at the Bauhaus from 1927 to 1931 – she was the only woman to ever become a Master.
Our reversible throw, made by hand over many months, consists of block-printed percale cotton and natural cotton fill. Each quilt is hand-stitched using a traditional unknotted running-stitch technique.
