We are thrilled to present the newest addition to our long-time collaboration with Commune Design: a collection of lamps made by Josie Ford and her partner, Dan Bruinooge. These lamps offer a sleek design, versatile in style, and are capable of emitting a soft, intimate glow. Each lamp is intended to be amiable, diplomatic with opposing styles; it can lean Bauhaus or Craftsman, Memphis or Shaker. The vertical taper is optimistic, pyramidal, and ascending.
The shade is made of handwoven fabric by WomenWeave – an organization connecting women weavers with sustainable livelihoods in the small town of Maheshwar, India. This collaboration blends modern elegance with traditional craftsmanship, creating a timeless piece that enhances any living space.
Black lacquer base paired with handwoven cotton shade, E12 candelabra socket, 8ft twisted cotton cord with in-line switch. Made in Los Angeles, CA.
